Ride Positive, a fund-raising cycling event, for the benefit of the HIV/AIDS affected children of Krishnagiri, is temporarily on hold. 

But, if you are up for a thrilling cycling ride for a good cause, then you can register for the event. You will be updated as soon as the event is rescheduled.

1- Register yourself as a rider

2- Spread the word

3- Get your ride sponsored: Min. Rs.500 per KM

4- All 75 KMs must be sponsored

5- Once done, you are good to go!

 

Ride positive will be a Supported Ride which will include support vehicles, well stuffed with hydration and energy drinks along with snacks. The ride will begin early in the morning at 6 am and is estimated to end at 12 pm. There will be a brief halt for breakfast at Jigani, an industrial area about 28 km away from Bangalore railway station, and very close to Electronic City. 

After reaching the destination, the riders will be provided with lunch. They will also be given a comprehensive tour of Namma Veedu – Centre for Excellence. Post that, the bicycles will be packed into the support vehicles and by 16:30 the return journey to Bengaluru will begin. 

Once the ride is complete, every rider will receive a Finisher’s Certificate by CoK.  

Itinerary

6:00 – Start from Sree Kanteerva Stadium

7:30 – Breakfast at Jigani

9:00 – Rest 

10:30 – Rest for Refreshments

12:00 – Reach Namma Veedu

13:00 – Lunch

14:00 to 16:00 – A Tour of Namma Veedu

16:00 – Snacks 

16:00 – Leave for Bangalore

17:30 – Halt for Refreshments

19:00 – Reach Bangalore

Terms and Conditions:

1- A rider must complete 60 KM to be eligible for the finisher’s certificate

2- A rider must get himself sponsored for each KM.
